Heckfield Place’s Story

Heckfield Place features 47 guest rooms and suites, each individually designed and furnished with a blend of antique and contemporary furnishings. The rooms offer views of the estate’s gardens and woodlands.

The hotel’s Marle restaurant, overseen by executive chef Skye Gyngell, serves a seasonal menu using produce from the hotel’s Home Farm and gardens.

Guests wanting to relax can also visit the Little Bothy Spa. There are five treatment rooms serving all natural treatments and exclusive products from the Wildsmith Skin natural skincare range. Aside from that, there is yoga, pilates and personal training available in the movement studio.

The grounds have to be one of Heckfield’s standout places. After meticulous hard-work, the Georgian gardens have been finally restored to their former glory. Featuring walled gardens, terraces and lawns, guests can wander the grounds and disconnect from the noise.

The Assembly at Heckfield Place is a room reserved for events, talks and cinema built around the core themes of the estate. While never forgetting their history and the occurrences of yesteryear at Heckfield Place, they are resolutely committed to the future and sustainability. That is why through their organic Home Farm, fully certified biodynamic market garden and natural skincare line they are taking steps to ensure that they can continue to provide hospitality without the added burden to the land.

Heckfield has been part of the HART family since 2023.
